OT Systems and China Mobile Hong Kong, a telecommunication corporation, continue close cooperation on Smart City development. On the World Telecommunication and Information Day, May 17, OT Systems conducted 5G test by applying our Smart Traffic Solution on jaywalking.
During the day, OT Systems set a mobile surveillance station in Hong Kong Science Park, the live surveillance video would send to the management platform at the Hong Kong Open Lab through 5G network. Meanwhile, with AI deep-learning, the system could analyze road crossing behaviors and determine if there is any jaywalking.
Combining China Mobile HK’s 5G technology and OT Systems’ technologies such as AIoT and Big Data on Smart Traffic application, we promote safe, efficient and effective Smart City development, and help traffic enforcement in future.
